To see a rock picked up 380,000 km away from Earth

In 2020, the Noordung Center of Space Technologies was home to one of the most valuable exhibits that have ever come to Slovenia – a stone from the surface of the moon.

As part of this exceptional exhibit, we digitized the rock with the aid of photogrammetry, developed an interactive application and produced educational content which allowed visitors to explore the rich world of information concerning human space exploration, including the infamous moon landing.

A couple of interactive touch screens with detailed information about the moon rock, a description of the origin and formation of the Moon, a comparison of space rockets, videos about walking on the lunar surface, a detailed description of one of the rare spacesuit replicas and much more rounds off the content we have prepared for them.
